Joe Keane

Joe founded Red Island Recruitment in 2022 on his desire to build a unique and high-performing recruitment business and offer a quality-driven, creative and bespoke service for clients and candidates.  Joe started his recruitment career in 2007 with a multinational recruitment company based in London.  Following his success working within the external agency market he gained experience as a lead recruitment business partner for several global investment banks and consultancy firms in London and Dublin.  He set up Red Island in response to market demand for flexible solutions to the skills shortages across the financial services sector in London and Dublin.  Given high market demand,  Joe has expanded his remit and is now working on mandates worldwide, with success in EMEA,  APAC and North America.  He has first-hand experience at all levels of recruitment, from associate to executive level and specialises in Asset Management,  Investment and Corporate Banking, Professional Services,  Banking Operations and Technology.  By overseeing all management and operational activities at Red Island,  Joe continues to develop the company with the ethos and spirit that he set out with, redefining recruitment with a solutions-led, customer-centric approach and delivering a quality service based on honesty and integrity.  Joe earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Human Resources Management specialising in Human Resources from the National College of Ireland and is a member of the CIPD.

Terri Poyntz

With over 20 years in the Financial Services industry, Terri has expert knowledge in the regulatory landscape both in Ireland and the UK. She managed the UK and European Regulators on behalf of a large UK Bank. Terri moved into recruitment to explore new opportunities in the sector and allow for a wide network to be explored. An accomplished senior leader with a proven track record of delivery and oversight, with considerable experience in working with senior management. Highly motivated with a proactive attitude whilst being versatile to represent client’s or candidate’s needs.
